Very delighted to see this! I will definitely be dining a la Windjammeur on the next 8 night sailing :D

We have not made it to the dining room for dinner. And tomorrow will be at Giovanni's so we will not go for dinner this cruise.

Looks promising. Were the lines long? Anyone going on future Freedom cruises can you see if this is going to continue.

I do wonder why they are making the WJ more of the to go place.

No lines at all when we were there.

New York

Fillet

Lobster

Lamb chops

Salmon

Sea Bass

All cooked to order.

Yes there is a line. Someone is standing in front where the meat is displayed.

He takes your order and gives you a number. Could take 10 to 15 minutes for your order.

Most crowded between 6 and 6:30.

On the first formal night they had,

Lobster tails

Calamari

other fish

Best food overall I have had in any Windjammer for a long time.

I was on for 3 cruise in January.

We did not feel like getting dressed for dinner so we headed up to Windjammer for dinner tonight on the Freedom of the Seas. They have NY Strip Steak and lobster medallions cooked to order tonight. Here is hubby's plate!572bf0d7533e9ad72b339dd5b01148b0.jpg

This is the first time recently I have heard that there's lobster (any type) in the WJ. Thanks for posting

On one cruise, I can't remember if it was Oasis or Allure, they had lobster tails in the Windjammer one night. They were so bad that nothing you poured on them could make them taste good.
