Iluvjo Posted February 16, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 16, 2017 Hello all, We have sailed on the OOS and enjoyed Sabor the restaurant and then Sabor bar for delicious hand crafted margaritas. All of which were yummy to say the least. We will be traveling on the SOS April 7th and I noticed that the ship has a Rita"s Cantina. My question is to those whom have traveled with Sabor and Rita's and can tell me the difference if any. Here is a copy and paste concerning both from RCCL Rita's Cantina Dive into a fiesta of flavor at Rita's, serving scrumptious Mexican fare along with the widest selection of margaritas at sea. Caters to families by day and grown ups by night, with live guitar music and dancing. And here is Sabor Sabor Taqueria and Tequila Bar Sabor - in Spanish, it means flavor. But here, it's that and so much more. A feast - or shall we say fiesta - for the eyes. A vibrant dance across the plate and palate. A long heritage of fresh, simple ingredients, reimagined in full bloom. Ritas sound like a fun fun place to be for a Mexican dish or yummy drink and then live entertainment after dark. Thanks, Leo
George C Posted February 16, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 16, 2017 Was not impressed by food at Rita's on Brilliance they did make a good drink
Rare BecciBoo Posted February 16, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 16, 2017 No comparison at all. Rita's was more like Taco Bell. The best thing they made was the Chicken Tomato soup sorta like Tortilla Soup here in Texas. It was pretty tasty but most of the other stuff so so. rkd1 Posted February 16, 2017 #5 Share Posted February 16, 2017 It is not worth the trip. Really mediocre at best.
leaveitallbehind Posted February 16, 2017 #6 Share Posted February 16, 2017 No comparison between the two - Rita's being the far lessor one. Nor are they intended to be.

Iluvjo Posted February 16, 2017 Author #9 Share Posted February 16, 2017 Thank you everyone. I think the best news is being able to hear live music in the evening while enjoying a margarita or just enjoying fresh beverage. Leo
