How far in advance can you purchase faster to the fun to get on the ship early?

As soon as it is available for purchase. You just have to keep checking.

Last year it wasn't available until right at the 6 month prior to cruise mark.

You will find different experiences all over the pre-cruise calendar map. Some report being able to get it 18 months out, others report far less (6 months or so). I believe Carnivals general guideline is 8-18 months but as others mention, just keep checking daily because FTTF is limited and tend to go quickly.

When we booked our cruise in January on th Valor for May, FTTF was sold out. Today when looking at excursions it was available so I purchased. Yeah!! This is our first cruise and I have heard so many pepole on this forum say that it is worth it. Even more excited now if that is possible.:cool::)

If you can buy it now, do it. Some cruises it sells out fast and does not come up for sale again. You can always cancel your order and get your money back if you decide you do not want it.

I was able to purchase right after I booked my cruise for September. I booked in October and purchased it that day. I looked on the site two weeks later and it was gone.

We booked in February for a September cruise and I bought it the next day :)

I booked 2/2 for an Oct. cruise. After learning about F2F, I booked it 3 days later. Sooner the better, they say.

It opened back up today for my cruise in 9 days!!!! I'm so glad to have gotten it. <3

My cruise is at the end of May, I'll just have to keep stalking it til it comes available. Did this once before and got one 30 days out. You just never know
