book on board reduced deposit, suites?

Is there a reduced deposit if booking a suite while on board? Seems as if I remember being only offered the usual suite perks when I looked into booking X while on board RCI a couple of months ago.

I remember the deposit being $100 pp for all cabins including suites.

Suites were NOT reduced deposits on our last X cruise in October 2016

Sky suites are 100per person. Other suites above I think it was 750

I definitely paid $100 last year for our upcoming S1 on Reflection.

For the Alaskan cruise (6/2017) we booked onboard last October, 2017 we paid $100 pp deposit for an S1. For the Australian cruise (2/2019) we booked onboard two weeks ago we paid $900 pp deposit for a Celebrity suite. Quite a difference!

Yes..... that is the difference... an S1 or S2 only requires $100 but the higher level suites CS and up were the full deposit on the Equinox last fall

I can confirm that we were told exactly the same thing when booking our 2018 cruise onboard our 2/20/17 Equinox sailing.

That sounds like a lot of money to me to borrow a book from the library.
