Sobro Posted March 31, 2017 #26 Share Posted March 31, 2017 It's been several years, but we also loved Solarium Bistro for dinner. I couldn't name what we ate, but it was delicious. We've sworn off Chops at sea (their landside restaurants are still top notch) and really enjoy Giovanni's. Unmentioned above, we like Johnny Rockets for free breakfast and a hot, made to order lunch. Rare fletch1027 Posted March 31, 2017 #28 Share Posted March 31, 2017 We're thinking we'll hit up ONE restaurant on our cruise. Where should we go and what should we order? We love all kinds of food and will try anything. Thanks! We love Izumi Hibachi. The food was a level above land based hibachi restaurants and the chefs and show is great as well. Cost is a flat $25 is for 1 protein (Beef, Chicken, Lobster, Shrimp) or $30 for a 2 protein combo). Menu is traditional like other hibachi places: Broth soup Salad w/ ginger dressing White Rice, Fried Rice, or Lo mein Noodles Grilled veggies One thing that is different from most land-based hibachi's is that dessert is also included. Can't remember specifics but I had a Japanese style ice cream / sherbet frozen dessert. Hope that helps...
Sobro Posted March 31, 2017 #29 Share Posted March 31, 2017 Never knew there was a Chops landside restaurant. From their website: An Atlanta icon known for its exceptional food and service, Chops consistently ranks as one of the top ten steakhouses in the country. Exquisite seafood flown in fresh daily and the very best USDA prime aged beef are served with style in the warm ambiance of the dark wood dining room. https://buckheadrestaurants.com/restaurant/chops-lobster-bar-atl/about/

RCI likely had to add the "Grille" on the end to avoid any potential legal issues for using the same name...

In other words, is it really the same restaurant, or are they unconnected and just share the same name.

The Grumpus Posted March 31, 2017 #33 Share Posted March 31, 2017 Another vote for the Solarium Bistro (bison and basa fish). Or Izumi Hibachi.

NengEuis Posted April 8, 2017 #35 Share Posted April 8, 2017 We did 150 Central Park this week and it was amazing. I would eat there again in a second. Excellent service and atmosphere. Sent from my Macberry Seven using Forums
KnightsFan Posted April 8, 2017 #36 Share Posted April 8, 2017 150 Central Park. The ambience and the food were both excellent. It's very good modern American, and gets extra points from me for being created by a Florida based chef.
Paulette3028 Posted April 8, 2018 #37 Share Posted April 8, 2018 We loved Izumi (hibachi) on the Oasis.Wasn't a fan of Sabor, at all and Chops was, "meh". Have a great cruise. We also do Izumi if it is onboard!
OACEIS Posted April 8, 2018 #38 Share Posted April 8, 2018 We only did Chops last time, and it was the best dinner we ever had until we went to Flying Fish at Disney a week later. It was the only one we did last time, but was enough for us to get the dining package and try the others this cruise.
