missemo12345 Posted April 20, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 20, 2017 I was chatting with a guest last week on Freedom and she said IOS will be getting a waterslide like LOS has? Wondering if it is a rumor or true?? Thank you
Clarea Posted April 20, 2017 #2 Share Posted April 20, 2017 Most likely, but nothing publicly announced by the cruise line.
Bees29 Posted June 16, 2017 #3 Share Posted June 16, 2017 What other ships have those waterslides? I know Adventure does. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
PlanetX Posted June 16, 2017 #4 Share Posted June 16, 2017 What other ships have those waterslides? I know Adventure does. Harmony, Liberty and Adventure are the three (plus Symphony starting next year). The RCI wiki page has a nice summary of which ships have what amenities, in case you want to compare and contrast other things: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_Caribbean_International#Ship_amenities

Thorben-Hendrik Posted June 17, 2017 #8 Share Posted June 17, 2017 IOS always seems to be the poor relation when it comes to upgrades. Thats because she spends so much time in Europe where it is not necessary to have all the new stuff!
Scrap Addict Posted June 17, 2017 #9 Share Posted June 17, 2017 Thats because she spends so much time in Europe where it is not necessary to have all the new stuff! Huh. We'll be sailing on our first RCCL cruise (usually HAL or Carnival) in 3 weeks. Do you mean since we're on the Indy, we won't have the typical RCCL experience???? Thats because she spends so much time in Europe where it is not necessary to have all the new stuff! The Indy is the last to get the upgrades as she is the newest of the Freedom class ships and the last to go into dry-dock. It's just the way things have worked out with the timing. Saab4444 Posted June 17, 2017 #12 Share Posted June 17, 2017 I still do not understand why everyone calls additional cabins and 10% more people an upgrade and can't wait until Indy looks as ugly as Liberty with all this additions put on top of the ship. Water slides might be fun for some people in the Caribbean but in Northern Europe and e.g. on a Norwegian Fjords cruise I do not care.
