It would definitely be wonderful. As much as I love the Summit, it would be fantastic for Celebrity to sail a new ship out of Bayonne, especially since the port has been made easier and more convenient for passengers to park vehicles/drop off, check in and get on the ship(no more shuttle buses!)thanks to the renovations.

When they brought out Silhouette, we were lucky to get a RT cruise on her from Bayonne to the Carib..,Perhaps history will repeat with EDGE..we would definitely be interested,

As great as it would be to have a celebrity ship in Baltimore, it is impossible for the Edge due to it's size. Ships leaving from Baltimore must pass under the Key Bridge, which has a low clearance. The two ships that home port in Baltimore (Carnival Pride and RCL Grandeur of the Seas) are significantly smaller ships than the Edge will be. Additionally, they must also adhere to strict guidelines related to fuel and pollution of the Chesapeake Bay.

That being said, I think Bayonne would be a good choice for part of the year!
