Can someone tell me do we get a card each? Thanks:) 1 minibar swap out = 2 coffee cards Let your cabin steward know what you'd like and he can take care of it for you, or call room service directly. Enjoy your coffees!
easyboy Posted May 25, 2017 #3 Share Posted May 25, 2017 Just call Room Service from your cabin on embarkation. It may just take them a while to make the exchange being busy on that day. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
framer Posted May 25, 2017 #4 Share Posted May 25, 2017 Just call room service, they pickup your mini bar and leave two cards. You don't even have to be there it magically happens. framer

helenb Posted May 25, 2017 #6 Share Posted May 25, 2017 I've heard that you can use the coffee cards for gelato, as well as coffee. Is this right?
Kamloops50 Posted May 25, 2017 #7 Share Posted May 25, 2017 1 minibar swap out = 2 coffee cardsLet your cabin steward know what you'd like and he can take care of it for you, or call room service directly. Enjoy your coffees! Preferred method is call room service. Room service has a check list of what is in the minibar. If you ask the room steward , he'll still have to call room service. fishywood Posted May 25, 2017 #8 Share Posted May 25, 2017 I've heard that you can use the coffee cards for gelato, as well as coffee. Is this right? Yes, at the Gelateria on Royal and Regal Princess. Others have reported using the card for the scoops of Gelato available at the International Cafe on Crown, Emerald and Ruby Princess. But since the cash price of a scoop on those ships is only $1.50, why use a punch with a basis of $2.38 for it?
Colo Cruiser Posted May 25, 2017 #9 Share Posted May 25, 2017 Hi there will be two of us cruising in a suite, and we want to swap out the complimentary minibar for coffee card(s). Can someone tell me do we get a card each? Thanks:) Just call room service. Mini bar must be complete. No partial trade outs for coffee cards. RS will collect the mini bar and leave the cards. Cabin steward has nothing to do with it. He/she have many other things to do than deal with room service for you. ;)

tailspintom Posted May 25, 2017 #12 Share Posted May 25, 2017 It would only be a secret if everyone did not know about it. A secret shared amongst a group. Obviously not"everyone" knows since the OP would not have enquired. A call to room service will get the mini bar changed out. No need to hang around the cabin. If you are not there, they will break down the beverages and leave an envelope with the cards. We try to be there to tip the room service person. We also tell them that they need not hurry. Thrak has brought up that he gifts others without cards coffee on his card and we have adopted practice this as well.

FritzG Posted May 26, 2017 #14 Share Posted May 26, 2017 Also, if you're on a b2b or a cruise that is sold in segments you'll get 2 new cards for each segment.

Actually the OP did know about it, he was just clarifying the quantity he would receive.
