Am I correct that ships usually dock at AS first with a ship coming to the next dock later. I wonder if the traffic pattern makes that easier (but not so nice for us).

Roy

No,it isn't always that way. For example, on Wednesday the Zaandam will dock at the CT dock before Emerald Princess arrives at the AS dock.

I guess Eurodam will dock on the starboard side.

Only Noordam seems to dock, consistently, with her stern facing the camera, everyone else we get to see their bow and of course - starboard docking.

I see the forklift is in action - early.

I'm here! Would anyone mind posting a few screen shots, especially N.A.? I am so excited to be doing my first HAL/Alaska cruise a year from this holiday weekend and am becoming obsessed with these threads. My computer can't receive the webcam.

Thanks!!

I believe that there are some short land/sea combination tours that embark and disembark passengers on those tours in Juneau.

That should be happening in Skagway, not Juneau.

And yes, I will not be back for sailaway. Thanks Kathi, Lou, and Dave.

Thank you. I stand corrected. I thought it also could occur in Juneau.

Nieuw Amsterdam left late and Eurodam still has not left. I am going to bed. See you all for Oosterdam.

Thanks Dave and Lou!

Here are a couple of pictures for EeyoreFan...
