Being in construction and a little involved in HVAC large areas that will have a lot of people are always keep very cold before a event to help offset the thermo load that happens as the area gets filled because the cooling unit isn't able to keep up with the load. That is why the areas are always very cold when entering and gets hotter.

Wear a light sweater or jacket until it warms up.

Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌞

It might depend on your itinerary. I've only taken two Celebrity cruises: during the S.E. Asia itinerary, the corridors and public rooms were muggy and warm, but on our Transatlantic cruise, the public areas were pleasantly cool, enough so that I needed a wrap most evenings.

Miched, that makes a lot of sense! Thanks for offering that tidbit. I think the HVAC system must have been overloaded on the Asia cruise - the ambient outdoor temperatures were up to 110F. Whew!
