Have Savory Bites been discontinued?

ALL of our past cruises had them, and I enjoyed a couple at each dinner.

Its available on all Oasis class ships, just ask the first night in the MDR and you will have them the rest of the week.:D

We had to pick up the pumpkin seed rolls in the WJ and had to do BYOB to have a selection for dinner......:rolleyes:

On the Radiance in May questioned about them the first nite and had a plate of 6 every nite after. Was told the cost of a special flower to make them had gone out of site.

It is a typical cut back on Oasis-class! :rolleyes:

They have far less bread selection on Oasis-class!

 

We get the bread- bites on any other class of ship!

Just got them on Indy 3 weeks ago!

Haven't seen them on my last two cruises. I thought about requesting them but am really not supposed to eat bread. I was afraid that, if I did request them, I would end up with a bunch of them each night, and would HAVE to eat them. lol

We asked for them on the Oasis and received a plate of them each night (except the first night). They are my husband's favorite!

Too time consuming/difficult to make?

 

Biker, who missed them on Explorer a few weeks ago.

 

I suspect these would be very easy to make, actually. It looks like the way they are formed is by rolling a strand of bread dough in poppyseeds and cutting it into wedges (possibly with a croissant cutter, a rolling device with angled blades), then separating the wedges, proofing, and baking. They are a favorite of mine as well, since I can have a little bread without wasting half of a full-size roll or being tempted to eat more bread than I should.

My sister asked for them on Allure in January and we received them. Love 'em.

The waiter said they didn't have them anymore....but somehow they materialized at every dinner after we asked for them.

I asked about them the first night and mentioned they were my favorite the waiter said they didn't offer them anymore. We were on the Oasis July 30th

They do have them on other ships - it is a service cut on O-class ships....

I guess the Wallmart-crowd does not need them;p
