Vegascouplewilltravel Posted June 21, 2017 #1 Share Posted June 21, 2017 We are going on the Escape in July and I'm curious as to what everyones favorite dish is. Both my boyfriend and I are pretty adventurous when it comes to food and I'm excited to try as much as I can in that week on there lol. So what is your one must eat thing on Escape? Sand and Seas Posted June 21, 2017 #2 Share Posted June 21, 2017 For me- It's the Korean Bulgogi Tacos with Kimchee in Food Republic. From my DH- It's the Pub Sliders in Food Republic. He would much rather have those than a Margaritaville burger.

UFMOM Posted June 21, 2017 #4 Share Posted June 21, 2017 The wagyu sirloin in Bayamo. Everything in Food Republic was great. Pinchos is good also. Just pick things from either menu that are to your taste and you can't go wrong. Mary Ann

mystic330 Posted June 21, 2017 #8 Share Posted June 21, 2017 I 2nd the Volcano Nachos!!! Just be aware to order ONLY those first and not those AND an entree/sandwich - you will NOT be able to finish either ...
Sand and Seas Posted June 21, 2017 #9 Share Posted June 21, 2017 From which restaurant? I believe they are referring to the Volcano Nachos at Margaritaville. They are good, but I've had better Volcano Nachos at the Las Vegas Margaritaville. The Margaritaville menu on board is very limited to what you will find at a land-based Margaritaville. Thats good to know since we live in Vegas. We will for sure have to try Food Republic. I heard Haven guests get a discount on the first day, not sure if its true or really matters since we will eat there anyway lol

billfish Posted June 21, 2017 #12 Share Posted June 21, 2017 We were on the Escape in May 2016. Was very impressed with the food and service in all the venues on the ship. Certainly a step up from Carnival. That being said two out of three of next cruises will be on Carnival Conquest the other one is on the Silhouette . It will be interesting how their food and service compare.

barb65 Posted June 22, 2017 #23 Share Posted June 22, 2017 Agree 100 percent with you on this, Mary Ann. Tried the wagyu sirloin in Bayamo and love it. Melted in your mouth, plus plate presentation was terrific!

Sand and Seas Posted June 22, 2017 #25 Share Posted June 22, 2017 Pork belly dumplings or short rib dumplings at Food Republic. Food Republic's Short Rib dumplings are a must-have for us now. So good with that special sauce made of sweet corn. Will be on our 5th Escape cruise in September. Hope they put a Food Republic on the Bliss!
