Any discounts on Specialty dining on longer cruises?

Good afternoon, haven't sailed with Holland since 2013 and have been on other major carriers that have discounted their specialty dining at times. Has anyone been offered a discount?

The longest cruise we have done was 28 days -- no discounts for the specialty restaurants.

HAL does offer the "Dine Around" which saves you a little money if you book it before the cruise. Check your "dining" options on HAL and see what the price is for your ship.

No special discounts that I have seen other than the mariner discounts or the dine around package that KK outlined. But, we've only been on for 33, 31 and 30 day cruises ;)

Thanks to all that have replied. I looked for information on the "Dine Around" package but was unable to locate anything. We are booked on the Eurodam FLL to YVR from April 18-May 07, 2018.

First time back since 2003 which was our very first cruise.

I think all the Specialty Dining venues are worth the price. Make sure to check out Tamarind as well as the Pinnacle Grill. We also have enjoyed Caneletto when in the mood for Italian.

Since your cruise isn't until next April, your specialty restaurant options won't show up for a while.

Three Star Mariners get 25% discount off the specialty restaurants and Explorer's Cafe coffees and teas while 4 and 5 star mariners get 50% off.

If you pre-book the specialty restaurants, you have to pay full price and once on the ship, you will get the discount as a "Loyalty" customer in the form of ship board credit -- it will show up on your shipboard account.

I always check our shipboard account about every other day.

On the Koningsdam cruises we have been on there always was a desk next to the Pinnacle Grill where packages were offered that included a discount. As we didn't like the combinations we preferred to pay "as you go" and use the Mariner's discount.

I bought the Signature Dining Package including 1 meal each at Canaletto and Pinnacle. $44 for both saved $6. We need to make the reservations when we're on the ship rather than in advance. This is on the Westerdam, but I believe it's available on every ship. Check the Indulgences menu.
