Reenie75 Posted August 24, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 24, 2017 Hi, new to MSC. This may be a strange question although my daughter loves this. The towel animals that the cabin crew make each night do they do this on the MSC Divina?
YellowDog Posted August 24, 2017 #2 Share Posted August 24, 2017 Yep, We got them. and they would often incorporate my kids stuffed animals into the scene. Im sure it depends on the individual cabin steward.

Rare Beamafar Posted August 24, 2017 #7 Share Posted August 24, 2017 It's very rare to see towel animals on MSC cruises. I've had cabin stewards who did them for us. I always believed it was a gesture of thanks for befriending them, which we always do on embarkation day. Perhaps you could ask your steward if he could make some for your daughter - I'm sure he'd oblige.
CruisingFox27 Posted August 24, 2017 #8 Share Posted August 24, 2017 We were on Divina in June and we did get some towel creations, not every night but a few times.
slei15 Posted August 24, 2017 #9 Share Posted August 24, 2017 We did not get any animals, but friends on the ship who asked the steward for them did. It is completely at the discretion of the room stewards as to whether or not they do them. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

dexddd Posted August 25, 2017 #14 Share Posted August 25, 2017 We had 2 YC rooms last week and I don't recall seeing an animal any night. I'd have to double check with the kids though, but if they did do it, it was only one or two.

I'd have to double check with the kids though, but if they did do it, it was only one or two. I've done 4 YC cruises and never saw a towel animal - even back when there was more chance of having them made when in non-YC cabins. Those with children in YC may have had a different experience. Kateann61414 Posted August 25, 2017 #16 Share Posted August 25, 2017 We did not get any. I think it depends on the steward. HOWEVER, we went to a towel folding demonstration that was so cool! Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Reenie75 Posted August 25, 2017 Author #17 Share Posted August 25, 2017 I find it odd they offer to show you how to make them on the ship but its selected crew who will do them. Hopefully ours does. My daughter likes seeing them and planning for the next day before we got to sleep. Fingers crossed. Either way we leave in 15 days! ;) Thanks for all the feedback!
