tromvest Posted August 24, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 24, 2017 It appears that there are only 3 beers on the complimentary (included) list. I think the 3 are Becks, Budweiser and Bud Light Does anyone have a beer menu with pricing on what else is available for purchase? Thank you! In Ireland. Murphy's, if you can find it, is the budget brand, Guinness the premium brand ( I appreciate this could offend Cork natives, however I'm observing across Ireland as a whole) On supermarket shelves Murphy's is bottom shelf, and budget priced, and I've often wondered if Azamara got the two brands mixed up? Murphy's is not well distributed in the licensed trade an still seen as the budget brand. Having said all of the above, I've always got a smile on my face if I order a Guinness on board knowing I've got it at the lower price.
TravelBugM Posted August 24, 2017 #10 Share Posted August 24, 2017 My husband always smiles when ordering a Murphy's on board. For us, finding Murphy's is rare. We now have a source across the border where Murphy's can be bought in a 10 pack at the grocery store, so we get Murphy's on a somewhat regular basis. Rare mj_holiday Posted December 26, 2017 #11 Share Posted December 26, 2017 I am looking at a cruise in 2019 that says beer, wine and selected spirits are included. From reading this, the three Becks, Budweiser and Bud Light are the only beers included? That doesn't compare to any of the other cruises I am been on where alcohol is included. Only having the option of these 3 beers isn't anything to take into consideration when comparing various cruises in making a decision.
Islander500 Posted January 1, 2018 #12 Share Posted January 1, 2018 I have to say that although I finally convinced my DH to book an Azamara cruise, the selection of included beers will be a disappointment. If you choose to upgrade, do you have to pay the full price? I guess I’ll have to do some research.
Grandma Cruising Posted January 1, 2018 #13 Share Posted January 1, 2018 The upgrade price on the website is the price you pay. Alternatively you can just buy a beer when you want a different one. Sent from my iPad using Forums
