Iron in room

Is there an iron in the room on Eurodam? If not, are you allowed to bring your own travel iron? Also, I was told you were not allowed to bring your own blow dryer or curling iron. True?

Actually, it's in reverse.

 

You CANNOT bring a travel iron. there is no iron in the room.

 

there is a hair blower/dryer in the room, but you can certainly bring your own and a curling iron.

We have sailed on the Eurodam and the hair dryers are very good.

If you don't have a good one -- either tell your cabin steward if he is still on duty or call the front desk if you are not in a Neptune or Pinnacle Suite. I always test the hair dryer before I wash my hair.

Curling irons are not on this PROHIBITED ITEMS LIST but I found one (three year old) report of them being taken when in carry-on bags: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2005272

Only the S and R class ships have laundry rooms -- Maasdam, Veendam, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Volendam and Zaandam.

There are no laundry rooms on any of the Vista class, Signature class and Pinnacle class ships.

There is no charge for the washer or dryer on the Prinsendam, and there is also an iron/board for passenger use.
