jq_jou Posted October 16, 2017 #1 Share Posted October 16, 2017 Hi, everyone, will cruise with Anthem of the Seas, little kids will have bumper cars, roller skating on board, do I need to bring their protection pads such as knee and arm pads? Or the cruise definitely provide these? Thanks.
Biker19 Posted October 16, 2017 #2 Share Posted October 16, 2017 Nothing provided for bumper cars. You may want to bring them for roller skating as the ones the ship has (if any) may not fit well.
OSUZorba Posted October 16, 2017 #3 Share Posted October 16, 2017 I've never seen anyone ever wear pads for any bumper cars. Absolutely not needed. If you want them to wear them for skating I'd bring my own. I haven't done roller skating on RCL, but I've done ice skating and I don't remember them having any pads besides helmets. They had knee and elbow pads on Voyager for ice skating. However, those were optional. Only the helmet was required.

Gordo Posted October 16, 2017 #6 Share Posted October 16, 2017 When we sailed on Ovation last November, they made everyone wear the knee and wrist pads before being allowed to skate.
Rare JessyCruises Posted October 17, 2017 #7 Share Posted October 17, 2017 Wow - so sorry for my previous msg. It looks like it was deleted by the mods thank goodness. Not sure how my fat fingers turned "knee and elbow pads" into what my previous message said. What I was TRYING to say is: I was on the anthem in March and they made everyone wear the knee and elbow pads for roller skating.
