Has anyone been to New Zealand and what were the must see things I need to not miss ??i super excited my husband surprised me for our 25 th wedding Anniversary .

I have been there several times. It is a very large and beautiful country.

 

When you post on the Australia/New Zealand board you will get far better feedback if you list out the specific ports on your itinerary including ports of embarkation/disembarkation and ports along the way.

We just returned. Only had three days there and our favorites were Hobbiton and the Auckland Museum. It was quite breezy and chilly so many of the "must dos" didn't seem like something we wanted to do. Hobbiton was fabulous.

Cruising into Milford Sound. Make sure you are up on deck, port side is best, before the ship enters the sound.

Our three favorites were wine country around Hawkes Bay, Akaroa, and Milford Sound. Akaroa was literally one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen!

Yes--Akaroa is great! And Milford Sound. We didn't get to Hawkes Bay, but it's wine country--what could be bad???
