Onboard Credit Question

Can you consider OBC like a discount off your cruise. So for instance if your cruise was $1000 and you have $200 in OBC that would be like your paying less because OBC can be used like cash?

Sort of, but only if you were going to spend that $200 onboard anyhow.

You can look at it however you want but you cannot apply your OBC against cruise fare balance owed.

 

Of course I know that. But OBC is a great way for that Drink Of The Day, Shore Excursion or special item in the shops that you would normally not purchase at home.

 

We never had 1 cent remaining as we use up all our OBC!
