How to get discounted drink package on Summit after final payment.

Happy New Year, Many people have mentioned Celebrity offering deeply discounted drink packages either just before sailing or on embarcation day. How are you finding out about any deals. We booked on the Jan 20 Summit just yesterday and were not offered any deals at the time......

Happy New Year, Many people have mentioned Celebrity offering deeply discounted drink packages either just before sailing or on embarcation day. How are you finding out about any deals. We booked on the Jan 20 Summit just yesterday and were not offered any deals at the time......

 

Two (2) ways, either via email if your sailing is having a sale on drink packages or once you are aboard, you will be offered a discount if the sales were/slow before sailing.

There was a sale in mid December for some sailing which has ended.

 

Keep checking your cruise planner in case, like us, you don’t get the emails.

On the December 23rd sailing they offered buy one get one 1/2 off on board.

On the Dec 2nd and Dec 12th sailings the beverage packages were buy one get one free. If you had the classic package you could upgrade and get two days free.

 

These were offered onboard for the first two nights. I don't know if this is still the case. Perhaps someone onboard could advise?

For the onboard offers, where did you see them? Was it in the Dailies or did a bartender or someone approach you offering it?

Multiple staff trying to sell them for the first couple of days. They'd ask you if you wanted a beverage package saying "two for one". I don't recall seeing anything in the dailies.

Thanks! Good to know! I never listened when they asked as I already had the Classic Package...never occurred to me they would offer a discount on an upgrade.

im on the 20th cruise too and Im holding out and waiting to buy on board (unless i see a sale online sooner).
