BaBa2 Posted January 14, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 14, 2018 Was reading the forums about the zipline in Labadee and did not see the answer to following. Do they require helmets while riding? DH wants to do zipline but will not put something on his head that has been on someone else's.
Ocean Boy Posted January 14, 2018 #2 Share Posted January 14, 2018 Yes they do. They are also required on the ships that have zip lines aboard them.
paradise4me Posted January 14, 2018 #3 Share Posted January 14, 2018 No you don’t use a helmet in Ladadee. We just did it last month. You can wear sunglasses also. We’ve done this 3 times and I absolutely love it!

Rare Lionesss Posted January 14, 2018 #5 Share Posted January 14, 2018 Seriously, you got to do it with no head protection? Yup, no helmets on Labadee, did it twice in the last couple years. Some men wore their baseball caps backwards. One guy had is go pro strap on his head and videotaped. I on the other hand just held on for dear life and lived to talk about it. Enjoy, we did. Ocean Boy Posted January 14, 2018 #6 Share Posted January 14, 2018 I wonder why they make you wear head gear on the 5 second ride aboard the ships and then not on Labadee?
SG65CB Posted January 14, 2018 #7 Share Posted January 14, 2018 I checked my photos from a stop at Labadee and a trip on the Allure and I can confirm that zipliners in Labadee are bareheaded and zipliners on the Allure are wearing a helmet. stumpmr Posted January 14, 2018 #8 Share Posted January 14, 2018 On Labadee there’s nothing to hit your head on.... open air ride.. Onboard the ship you may hit the railing... Same as if your traveling thru a forested area. Sent from my iPad using Forums
