I see you on the AIS....about 40 miles east of Avon, NC clipping along at a brisk 21 knots....:cool:

 

 

 

Yeah we are on the move and seas are beginning to build with some whitecaps. We will see if the Captain is correct about the rough weather later today, might be a rocky ride tonight!

Good Morning Cruise Critics welcome to Day 8 from the Anthem of the Seas... our final day... our final morning... our final day with not having to do wash, cooking our own meals and cleaning and running errands....the final day before a new workweek... ughhh why do we cruise and put ourselves in this position!!!

 

Anyway let’s try to have the best last day possible! We plan to tour some more of the ship and shops.. tour the bridge... try and hit and run a jackpot in the casino.. maybe do a bar crawl... maybe see the Dreamworks performances with Shrek... maybe we should have tried some of this during the previous seadays :)

Here is some preliminary info from the Royal App

It lets you reserve it on the app, but of course it us all booked for today. I will ask around about where it is held and how to reserve, but you may want to reserve it first thing upon boarding on the app.

Thank you for the great TR. We were suppose to cruise on the Serenade this march but decided to cancel and go to Aruba for 2 weeks. This is the first year in 9yrs we did not cruise so you report is giving me a little cruise envy, lol.

Have been on the Anthem 3 or 4 times and last year we got a suite and loved it. Just really do not like the pool situation with the chairs. That is what made up our mines to cancel because it is pretty much the same on all the ships by the pool.

 

But loving your report!

I did the escape room on Anthem in January. We boarded by 11am and went straight to the ipads to book this. It's only offered on sea days, but there were several times still open when we boarded. It was a lot of fun, definitely recommend. I thought it was pretty hard, it took our group about 35 minutes which the attendant said was one of the better times. It's located up in the Sea Plex.

Glad it is enjoyable! There are definitely aspects of cruising that are not ideal like some of the pool deck situations. If you really want to be shocked by a pool deck you should see NCL Breakaways pool deck on a seaday. Absolute chaos...

Thanks for the info! I checked with an officer who looked at me like what am I asking about? I will try the seaplex staff when they open to see if they can provide any further info beyond what Jasukkie offered. It seems like booking a time as soon as you board on the app is the best bet.

The escape room is located just outside the Seaplex. You can book online at home ahead of time , ( according to the guest relations officer I spoke with so do not take this as gospel since some of them seem less than sure on some questions I ask) or on one of these just inside guest relations as soon as you board or on the app on your phone..
