maweberpa Posted February 9, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 9, 2018 I've been searching and haven't come across a good photo of the JS balcony on Explorer. Does anyone have one they'd be willing to share? Just trying to get a sense of how many chairs could fit. It looks they come with 2 standard chairs and a small table. Is that correct? Thanks! It's not unusual for us to have one lounger, one chair, and a small table on our JS balcony.
maweberpa Posted February 9, 2018 Author #6 Share Posted February 9, 2018 Thanks for the video. I hadn't seen that one before. Seems like the balcony is pretty big and might be large enough for 4 chairs. We're on an Alaska sailing, so I'm imaging a fair amount of balcony time. That’s it unless you have an aft maybe.
maweberpa Posted February 9, 2018 Author #8 Share Posted February 9, 2018 Nope, not aft, mid ship. Do you think 2 more chairs would fit (if we moved the table into the room)?

maweberpa Posted February 9, 2018 Author #10 Share Posted February 9, 2018 I don't really care about the lounger, but we're traveling with another couple and I thought it would be nice if we could hang out on the balcony together.

If you get rid of everything else, you may be able to fit 4 chairs out there, but it's going to be tight.
maweberpa Posted February 9, 2018 Author #12 Share Posted February 9, 2018 Good to know it's not a definite no. Thanks again!
cb at sea Posted February 9, 2018 #13 Share Posted February 9, 2018 You can always take the vanity chair out there...just don't leave it out overnight, or it WILL get wet!
maweberpa Posted February 9, 2018 Author #14 Share Posted February 9, 2018 They are only a few cabins away so I had thought about them just bringing their chairs, but the vanity chair is a great idea.
