There are a few other areas where the floors are quite slippy, going from the Deck 7 pool into the Library and the glass floor near the Casino.

We have been to Magens bay which we found quite nice and visited Blackbeard's castle where they make Rum, have a pool and a bar with great views and a nice walk back down towards town through the old colonial houses.

With regard to the schooner tour, we have never done it so cannot offer any advice on it.

The Limmin zip lines were still closed over Xmas as was the underwater scooter bike and seabed walk.

Oh dear an ugly incident at the Voyagers club desk!

Not us by the way!

An elderly American lady was wanting to do status match and was not understanding that you do not do it in board!

Her parting final shot to poor Valentina was that she was sick of this hell hole and couldn’t wait to get off!

We were both gob smacked!

Anyway Valentina sorting out our missing prosecco for tomorrow and very apologetic.

Also re today’s tour we have put in a complaint along with most of the other people who were on it!

They said they will get back to us later so watch this space!

We have also enquiries about booking one of the cruises out of New York in 2019.

Is there a separate Voyagers Club desk or is it the same as the guest services desk in the Atrium?

Valentina is very helpful and was great with us, you may find it in your cabin later.

Some people really do need taking down a peg or two from their high horses, Maybe if the hellhole is that bad she might want to get off at Grand Turk and make her own way home.

We looked at the NY sailings and they are quite high price wise, we looked at the Canada sailing.

Hopefully those of you on that tour will get some if not all of your money back

We are getting a price for the one that includes Boston will let you know.

Also we think the woman has been chatting to other people who have mentioned having done the status match!

Valentina asked for her voyagers club number and the reply was “What is a voyagers club I have never heard of it!!!”

Nikki what was it that you were complaining about on the tour?

I never thought about saying anything to anyone onboard. I just put it down to poor choice on our part an expensive waste of time cruise trip and know better for next time.

Do you think they are taking the passengers compaints seriously enough that you will get some kind of recompense for it?

Will definitely be interested to hear what if anything they do.

Okay a NEGATIVE coming up!!!

Not the best day in ST Thomas!

We booked through MSC the Peaks Pirates and Plunder tour.

Biggest waste of money ever!

You got taken to the top of the Island for the Peak bit, then comes the Pirate bit

Assume the Plunder is this gift shop at the top of said peak?c43999398ce7a77a8ddb925dd0449604.jpg

We then got dropped off in the main shopping area about an hour later approx 10.30 and was told there was a boat back to ship at either 12 noon or 1pm!

Absolute waste of money and time on the island!

Also was a pain being harassed at every shop we walked by!

We did an island tour with Royal Caribbean and it was awesome! We did stop here and I got a non-alcoholic banana daiquiri and I must it was the best thing I have ever had. I was with my mom and she took a sip and she complained that I didn't get a big enough size lol.

But it's too bad the excursion wasn't what you were expecting........

Now to last nights dinner this was the second Elegant night, btw tonight is the 70’s night.

Don’t know what’s happened to the Italian or Mediterranean night unless they do for the last night?

Anyway now for the menu.

I had the scallops btw and they are tiny little things the size of a little finger nail! Personally I would choose a different starter next time!

We had our included massages yesterday both had the Bali massage. Mine was quite painful but in a nice way lots of work on pressure points.

And no we didn’t leave an additional tip.

Also chatted to our waiters and the are on first contract with MSC they have a ten month contract work a 7 day week and a 15 hour day make what you will of that!

I asked the question btw and they were NOT complaining I think it’s just how they are used to working.

We arrive in Grand Turk at 12 noon so have an afternoon there if anyone can post some suggestions of what to do it will be greatly appreciated!

I have checked and there will also be a Carnival ship in port so think all the golf buggies will be booked? I got that information from the Ports of call bit.

Also something called the Local is closed and also the service is not good at Johns shack!

Is it that rough Nikki ... the sea that is.

It was rough to what we are used to! And the ship was rocking and rolling during the night!

Seems nice again though now!
