chiliwily0 Posted February 19, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 19, 2018 Has anyone tried the cakes from the funshop? Which flavor is best? I am debating whether or not to order one.
bury me at sea Posted February 19, 2018 #2 Share Posted February 19, 2018 Has anyone tried the cakes from the funshop? Which flavor is best? I am debating whether or not to order one. I ordered the chocolate/chocolate cake with a birthday package. It was delicious, far better than anything I've had on the chocolate buffet. beachbum53 Posted February 19, 2018 #4 Share Posted February 19, 2018 When we cruised on the Conquest a couple of years ago, we took our daughter and a niece with us. It was our daughter's birthday, and we pre-ordered the chocolate cake for her. It was very good.
Cherok Posted February 19, 2018 #5 Share Posted February 19, 2018 My daughter surprised me with the chocolate/chocolate cake. It was fabulous! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Forums mobile app
Aviendah Posted February 19, 2018 #6 Share Posted February 19, 2018 We ordered both the chocolate and vanilla cakes for a group and they were fantastic. I'm a chocolate lover but the vanilla with strawberry was just as good.

Cruzlover7 Posted February 19, 2018 #9 Share Posted February 19, 2018 The chocolate cake is delicious. Fair warning depending on how many in your group, you only need the 6”. Unless of course you want to eat a lot of cake. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

amydresh Posted February 20, 2018 #11 Share Posted February 20, 2018 Our son celebrated his birthday on our cruise last Jan and we ordered the vanilla/strawberry cake for him and it was really, really good. We gave some out to the tables around us because there was no way we were going to eat it all. Everyone took a piece. We are definitely ordering a cake to celebrate our 20th anniversary this next week.
riclop Posted February 20, 2018 #12 Share Posted February 20, 2018 Has anyone tried the cakes from the funshop? Which flavor is best? I am debating whether or not to order one. You have to order the flavor that you like not what people here will tell you.
Tiger0613 Posted February 20, 2018 #13 Share Posted February 20, 2018 Has anyone had the sugar free version of the vanilla/strawberry cake? I ordered it for a cruise on the Sensation in 2/2016, but someone canceled my entire Fun Shop order(cake, Bottomless Bubbles, and 12-pack of water) without telling me and without a refund. It was a pain to find out what happened. They gave me a refund instead of giving me what I ordered. The MDR surprised me with a sugar free vanilla cake(no strawberry) but it was terrible. ricew001 Posted February 20, 2018 #16 Share Posted February 20, 2018 My wonderful sister got us a delicious cake from the Fun Shops for our anniversary back in August. I felt bad though because we only had a bite. We were barely in the cabin and there's so much other food on the ship, so I felt like we wasted it :-(
