vivianmarie244 Posted March 11, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 11, 2018 Will they adjust a current booking if the "sale" results in the same price but the OBC is higher than the original booking? TIA

iahawkfan21 Posted March 11, 2018 #3 Share Posted March 11, 2018 Check the Terms of the new "sale", but typically if it's prior to the scheduled final payment date we've never had an issue getting it done.
deliver42 Posted March 11, 2018 #4 Share Posted March 11, 2018 Yes, as long as it isn't for new bookings only.
Dennis#1 Posted March 11, 2018 #5 Share Posted March 11, 2018 Will they adjust a current booking if the "sale" results in the same price but the OBC is higher than the original booking? TIA Yes, but you must call and request the additional OBC. When RCCL runs a new sale (either lower cruise fare price or additional OBC) for a current booking, they have adjusted my cruise fare/OBC AS LONG AS IT IS BEFORE THE FINAL PAYMENT DATE. fsjosh Posted March 11, 2018 #6 Share Posted March 11, 2018 How does it work if the class of room you are booked in is sold out? I have one of the two Panoramic "suites" on Freedom. Do they even update prices internally on sold out classes? Or if it's sold out will they not let you adjust the booking at all? In this case, to get the extra OBC. I know the answer is "call RCI and ask them", but didn't know if anyone had any experience with this situation?

Once a stateroom category is sold out, I have never been successful in getting additional OBC. If one of those sold out stateroom categories does become available, RCCL most likely will increase the cruise fare price and then there is a chance of some OBC (if a sale is currently being offered).
