We flew in yesterday from Colorado, early but uneventful flight. I should clarify...”we” includes myself (Nikki), husband Kevin and 17 year old twin boys Patrick and Aidan. This is my fourth NCL cruise and their third. The other ships we were on were the Escape and the Getaway.

We stayed at the Homewood Suites and it was just fine. Clean, pool, bar - in no particular order. They served a free hot breakfast and had a shuttle to the port for $5/person. We had a rental car so we just returned our car to National and took their shuttle to the port. Our car was like $65 but we had a free rental day so it cost us $6 [emoji4]. This is our sweet ride.

Yes, the 17 year old boys picked it out.

We got to the port at 10:45, started boarding at 11:30 and were sitting at O’Shee’s at noon.

While I’m in the camp of “love O’Shee’s wings”, I do find the celery sticks pretty funny. [emoji12]

We went to Fishlips last night for dinner and that place was amazing! I’m at 2% battery right now so I have to go charge the phone. I’ll post dinner pics shortly!

Fishlips was amazing. We sat upstairs - live music, raw oysters, peel and eat shrimp. Totally my kind of place! Here are some pics.

Muster is over, we are unpacked and we just waved goodbye to the Disney Fantasy.

 

We are in an aft balcony, deck 8. It’s our first time in an aft balcony so I’m really excited to be able to enjoy the lounger and the scenery.

 

I must say, I’m already missing my fish. Not two hours on the ship and we ended up forward instead of aft!

Tip of the day: As soon as you can connect to the ship’s WiFi, go to your iConcierge app and register. From there you can get reservations for Escape the Big Too, comedy club and for this sailing, tender tickets for Grand Cayman.

We played a little “Majority Rules” (lost) and then tried a little black jack (I lost, Kevin’s still at it). I’m now at Howl At The Moon. Might be my favorite entertainment on the ship!

I had to laugh at your picture of the celery sticks that came with the wings. For some unknown reason to me the celery sticks are always itty bitty things in O'Sheehan's. One time I was actually served the leafy tops of celery with the wings on our Panama Canal cruise on the Star.
