lisakoivu Posted March 27, 2018 #7 Share Posted March 27, 2018 Plus there are really long line-ups at guest services the night before - just so you know and can be prepared.
Barb Nahoumi Posted March 27, 2018 #8 Share Posted March 27, 2018 You have the option of settling with cash ahead of time, or having your total added to the card which you presented.
maggie cruises Posted March 27, 2018 #9 Share Posted March 27, 2018 Why not let them charge your card and save your time on the last night for fun instead? Just pay the account asap when home. Do it online for that matter Save the cash in case you need it during your transit home Earn your credit cards rewards if you have them Use the banks money for a 30 day interest free loan Sent from my iPad using Forums
YVRBassElectric Posted March 27, 2018 #10 Share Posted March 27, 2018 Don’t wait till the last day of the cruise! You can put cash on your account at anytime during the cruise.
PBECH1973 Posted March 28, 2018 #11 Share Posted March 28, 2018 You can opt to do it both ways by putting cash in your onboard account or linking to a credit card. Everything must be paid at the time of use. I have put cash in my onboard account as well as I have used a credit card ad well. Check with your credit company to see if they offer rewards for cruise ship some do. Sent from my LG-TP260 using Forums mobile app
cb at sea Posted March 28, 2018 #12 Share Posted March 28, 2018 Definitely do it the night prior, unless you want to stand in a long line in the morning. Consider the cruise to be over when you go to bed the last night...because it is over!

don't-use-real-name Posted March 30, 2018 #15 Share Posted March 30, 2018 Definitely do it the night prior, unless you want to stand in a long line in the morning. Consider the cruise to be over when you go to bed the last night...because it is over! Also note the UBP expires sometime after midnight the last day (night) of the cruise. CruiseGal999 Posted March 30, 2018 #16 Share Posted March 30, 2018 Plus there are really long line-ups at guest services the night before - just so you know and can be prepared. To clarify what a really long line at guest services means. It 'could' mean hours standing on line waiting to settle your account.

Yes, but you have to settle your account the last night of the cruise. And since OP wants to use cash, it is really a last night requirement.
