NCnurse Posted April 29, 2018 #478 Share Posted April 29, 2018 Tonight is Q as my last SDP and tomorrow will be Los Lobos. I am suspicious of anything that calls itself Texas BBQ yet has a Carolina sauce available. I went with the Smoked Peach Margarita again. Sent from outerspace I agree with you about “Carolina” sauce at a Texas BBQ, and I’m from North Carolina! Love the Smoked Peach Margaritas! NCnurse Posted April 29, 2018 #479 Share Posted April 29, 2018 In which case, can you get a pic of the storage space underneath the bed in room 10918? I need to make sure our luggage fits. If you could measure it too, that would be great . ;p;p;p:p:D 🤣[emoji23]🤣 Sent from my iPad using Forums
NCnurse Posted April 29, 2018 #480 Share Posted April 29, 2018 Are there dart boards in the Local? I read there aren't pool tables. Thanks No, but there’s a two lane bowling alley and some video games as well as claw machines. Sent from my iPad using Forums

NCnurse Posted April 29, 2018 #482 Share Posted April 29, 2018 Starting to have some issues with internet not connecting and I'm wondering if more people are starting to use it. I went up to the Observation Lounge to fund a chair to do updates and it's packed again. Then I found this: IT BEGINS There is now a new version of the chair hog; the Observation Lounge variety. The couple at the table next to me confirmed they had gone for at least an hour. I was here for a good 20 minutes before they finally showed up with napkins from the buffet which probably means they went up to eat. Anyways, here's the day 6 daily. Yeah, we all think you and your wife/friend are rude, buddy. Sent from outerspace For sure! kikki21 Posted April 29, 2018 #483 Share Posted April 29, 2018 Never ever seen Lobster on a buffet on any ship I’ve been on! Shame it wasn’t that great though [emoji17] Sent from my iPhone using Forums
bds611 Posted April 29, 2018 #484 Share Posted April 29, 2018 Still tired but up. While we're only an hour off EST it's still 5 hours for me on PST. Time change has not been good to me even with shutting the "window" in my room. Here's the daily for day 9. It's still foggy and chilly with the fog getting a little thicker last night. It probably would have been a great time to do laser tag. Sent from outerspace Is there any church services on Sunday
macfam5 Posted April 29, 2018 #485 Share Posted April 29, 2018 Thank you for the wonderful reviews and pictures - we are sailing on the Bliss in 69 days!! Which restaurant do you recommend ? Q or Los Lobos Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Rare CoffeeGoddess Posted April 29, 2018 Author #486 Share Posted April 29, 2018 Now we're rocking! As I sit here in the A-List it looks like Cagney's and Los Lobos are going to be busy tonight. My reservation is in 15 minutes so I'll wait for the line to die down. Sent from outerspace
Rare CoffeeGoddess Posted April 29, 2018 Author #487 Share Posted April 29, 2018 First thoughts on Los Lobos is I could eat the salsa with a spoon. While they don't have it listed on the menu, they do offer a spicy margarita which I have ordered. Sent from outerspace
E@syPe@zy Posted April 29, 2018 #488 Share Posted April 29, 2018 It all looks yummy on the menu! I would love to try that margarita!! I'm fixing salmon tacos, guacamole, and black bean& corn salad for dinner tonight. I'd rather be where you are!! Enjoy your dinner and hope it doesn't make you feel bad afterwards. Briitini Posted April 29, 2018 #489 Share Posted April 29, 2018 Can they still make a dirty mojito in sugarcane? I remember it from Getaway back in 2014, but I do not see it on the menu.. best mojito EVER and I am worried they don't make them anymore :eek::eek::eek::eek:
lostone65 Posted April 29, 2018 #490 Share Posted April 29, 2018 Thank you for taking the time to take pictures and post your observations. One of my very favorite Bartenders, as I understand it, has been assigned to the Observation Lounge--Dhruv Bogati from Nepal. Dhruv is one f my favorites also! Met him on the Star in December 2012 when he was a bar waiter, hoping to sail with him again one day!
Rare CoffeeGoddess Posted April 29, 2018 Author #491 Share Posted April 29, 2018 I was going to try for Prohibition at 7pm today but my meal took just a little too long. I had heard some people say Los Lobos wasn't good and all I can say is they must not have had the same meal I did. My meal was excellent. From the starting chips and salsa to the street corn side everything was delicious and I will recommend it. The quesadilla was large and could be an appetizer for two. The street corn was a great example of this favorite that I have had at many a Mexican eatery in Vegas. This was my first time eating Cochinita Pibil, a bitter orange braised pork, but good lord was that tasty with the pickled onions to set it off. I was a little sad that I was so full I couldn't get dessert because the menu looked good. And while I was finishing up we passed the fog and the sun came up. Rare CoffeeGoddess Posted April 29, 2018 Author #496 Share Posted April 29, 2018 The only bad thing about being the only one (ok, of 3 now that 2 more came in) is that they have taken this opportunity to do some kind of maintenance that involves a loud drill in the seating area. cksv Posted April 29, 2018 #497 Share Posted April 29, 2018 Does the thermal pool on the Bliss seem smaller to you than on the Escape and Getaway? That’s the impression I get from the photos.
Rare CoffeeGoddess Posted April 30, 2018 Author #498 Share Posted April 30, 2018 Does the thermal pool on the Bliss seem smaller to you than on the Escape and Getaway? That’s the impression I get from the photos. It does. I would say it's narrower than Getaway and Escape. The whole spa is definitely smaller than Escape and maybe even the Getaway. I was a little sad they didn't have windows in the saunas like on Escape and Epic. Sent from outerspace
marcyjane Posted April 30, 2018 #499 Share Posted April 30, 2018 I think they stepped up the finishes in the studio rooms but I'm sad they took the mood lighting out again.
