She had to back out and now I have one friend on the first cruise and another on the second cruise with me. RC says this no longer constitutes a b2b since not everyone in cabin is on both cruises. Has anyone ever done this? Do I have to get off and get back on with the people boarding for the second cruise? Do I need a second set sail pass? However, I expect that Guest Services will not have a problem with the situation. memoak Posted April 24, 2018 #3 Share Posted April 24, 2018 On every back to back cruise I have done (admittedly not with this particular cruise line) a new card was delivered to my cabin and we did have to disembark just for a moment then were allowed back on. They have to completely empty the ship of passengers before you can get back on. At times they have had us meet in a lounge and once everyone was there escorted us off and then back on again. Currently have a 3 person cabin b2b weeks, but our daughter isn't going to be able to make it the first week. Already tried to remove her once, but the rep was like, you'll have to change cabins. That's why we use a travel agent. He has a lot more clout with RC than we do and he'll fight to get us what we want. Good luck. Hope you get the answer you are looking for from the next rep. Hope you get the answer you are looking for from the next rep. Took a supervisor, and a call to Revenue, but we were able to remove our daughter and get the 3rd person fare refunded. I think they were resistant to letting us drop her earlier because this sailing has been very popular, being very close to sold out by the time final payment arrived. As the other poster said, you will need to meet with the other B2B's somewhere and be escorted off of the ship and then immediately get back on. ALL guests must disembark before re-boarding can begin. You will be issued a new set sail pass before leaving. You will disembark using your first week sea pass and then re-board with the 2nd week's sea pass. It's a very easy and painless process, so no worries!;) Cheers!:cool: P.S. Just note that this is the procedure for B2B turn arounds in the USA. Turn arounds in other countries can be significantly different. In some cases you do not even have to get off the ship. When you board the first week go to guest services and ask to speak to the person who handles consecutive cruisers. I’m sure you will be able to arrange amicable arrangements similar to or identical to the normal back to back routine.
