$75 OBC for a $50 fare increase - would you do it?

You said its 18 months out... a lot of different sales between now and then could be more beneficial....what if a sale comes up with free grats or dining or more OBC....

You can reprice your booking as many times as you want

By posting this thread, reading the replies, and spending time doing mock bookings, is it really worth $25? For me...not a chance. But, you've invested this much into it, so you might as well "take the plunge."

I would definitely do it if I had confirmation that everything else stayed the same and the OBC could be used for gratuities - almost always the only thing on our final bill.

 

Saving money by a making a simple phone call or emailing someone? That's a great use of time in my book.

The fact is you do have to spend it unless you prepay your tips

Think of it as you need something at Home Depot and you can buy a $75 gift card for $50. Why wouldn't you?

 

 

 

I wouldn’t because I prepaid my tips and my drink package. But if I hadn’t then (like I said in my post), that would be the only reason it would be worth it to me.
