The apps on all cruise lines are worth every penny for parents. Its the best way to communicate on the ship, not perfect by any means but very useful.

 

I am glad you daughter was able to enjoy kids club. Kids clubs are one of the reasons why we have enjoyed cruising with our kids so much. The kids love it and the parents get to enjoy a little bit of adult time.

 

Peoples concerns are not about making sure your child made it to the muster station in a emergency. More reminding people that bad stuff happens on vacation too. Its not always as safe as it appears.

Took a pair one time to use on shore. Experimented on the ship, totally useless unless you have clear line of sight. Too much steel.

And, of course, in some ports they are illegal to use. Did you check on that?
