Rare TriumphGuy Posted May 21, 2018 #1 Share Posted May 21, 2018 Considering a cruise on the Crown (10 nights) for Feb 2019. We own shares of Carnival and are wondering if Princess still offers shareholder OBC for 2018 and 2019? Thanks, Burns
Rare azbirdmom Posted May 21, 2018 #2 Share Posted May 21, 2018 As of right now they do and we've been given no reason to believe that Carnival will discontinue this very popular program.
paul929207 Posted May 21, 2018 #3 Share Posted May 21, 2018 Yes. I think it was last extended to July of 2019. For 15 years or more they have extended the program a year at a time each year. There is every reason to expect them to extend it again early next year.
Rare TriumphGuy Posted May 21, 2018 Author #4 Share Posted May 21, 2018 Thank you. It is a terrific program. Last year we got $250 OBC for our anniversary Hawaii cruise, plus other OBC through a promotion. We had had almost $1,000 OBC total and used it all! . Looks like the Caribbean cruises in February don't offer any OBC promotion, so any shareholder credit is welcome!
wheezedr Posted May 21, 2018 #5 Share Posted May 21, 2018 Shareholder credit remains unchanged for this year.
DougH Posted May 21, 2018 #6 Share Posted May 21, 2018 It's a great program. Faxed in my paperwork last week and later that day the credit showed up on my bookings.
DrivesLikeMario Posted May 21, 2018 #7 Share Posted May 21, 2018 I agree with all above. The dept. handling the shareholder OBC really has their act together now. I'm seeing OBCs applied within hours of them receiving the faxes. Way to go! (y)
