RMac713 Posted July 15, 2018 #1 Share Posted July 15, 2018 We are going to be canceling our 6/23/19 Horizon cruise due to circumstances. I have already booked FTTF. Is that also refundable? Thanks.
Purvis1231 Posted July 15, 2018 #2 Share Posted July 15, 2018 Yes, when you cancel in advance all purchases will be refunded. Hope you can rebook!
crooooze Posted July 15, 2018 #3 Share Posted July 15, 2018 Yep, it is even refundable if you didn’t cancel your cruise, but just changed your mind about getting it.
jma624 Posted July 15, 2018 #4 Share Posted July 15, 2018 Too bad it's not transferable. If you got one you could sell it to the highest bidder.
Joebucks Posted July 15, 2018 #5 Share Posted July 15, 2018 Yep, it is even refundable if you didn’t cancel your cruise, but just changed your mind about getting it. I did this as soon as I boarded my cruise.

joepeka Posted July 15, 2018 #7 Share Posted July 15, 2018 I did this as soon as I boarded my cruise. And I'm guessing you were assessed a cancellation charge since you cancelled after the 11:30PM Eastern time day prior to sailing window?

I don't think they can do that as they'v already used it.

cathyoo Posted July 16, 2018 #10 Share Posted July 16, 2018 Sorry you had to cancel although I am hoping a bunch of folks with FTTF cancel their 10/21/18 Pride cruise
Joebucks Posted July 16, 2018 #11 Share Posted July 16, 2018 And I'm guessing you were assessed a cancellation charge since you cancelled after the 11:30PM Eastern time day prior to sailing window? Full refund. I'll admit it was my ignorance at the time for not fully understanding what FTTF was. It was a late sailing, that we walked on late for. There literally was zero use for the program. Guest services let me have a refund.
joepeka Posted July 16, 2018 #12 Share Posted July 16, 2018 I don't think they can do that as they'v already used it. I'm thinking they could have deducted the cancellation fee from the refund but per his earlier post, GS was sympathetic and gave a full refund. Nice. :)

joepeka Posted July 16, 2018 #14 Share Posted July 16, 2018 The poster came out well on that one! On our last cruise in March, our DD had FTTF and all but one piece of her family's luggage was delivered by 1PM. They visited GS a few hours later to inquire about the missing piece and were told it was probably on it's way but gave DD a full FTTF refund for failing to deliver all the luggage early so they came out well too. BTW, that last piece of luggage did show up about 5PM.

Go to your booking in Cruise Manager, the "My Billing" tab under "Cruise Details", click the "Edit this Order" button under FTTF and it will take you to a page where you can remove it. I mentioned in passing that some of our luggage hadn't arrived prior to muster and the GS employee immediately offered us a full refund of the FTTF cost without being prompted. Awesome customer service, there.
