Ashland Posted July 18, 2018 #2 Share Posted July 18, 2018 Going on a cruise in Feb 2019. Does Carnival Dream offer a New Orleans City Tour excursion? Try asking your question on the Carnival board...you'll get a lot more response....but do keep in mind that you can usually do better booking your own excursions rather than those offered by the ship. In addition checkout your roll call you can usually find some great private excursions to join with your fellow cruiser's. Best of luck and enjoy. Rare Essiesmom Posted July 18, 2018 #3 Share Posted July 18, 2018 Since NOLA is your departure port, there won't be one offered before the cruise, and the only other option would be if they offered one that is included with the transfer to the airport. EM This You might be able to find an independent tour though. Depending on how long you will be in NOLA, you might be better off just doing your own thing - Bourbon Street, National WWII Museum, St Louis Cemetery 1, etc.... agargoyle Posted July 22, 2018 #5 Share Posted July 22, 2018 Hi, I would highly recommend a visit to the WWII museum. If you are arriving in NOLA the day before you can just catch the trolley there. Do not miss Burbon St after dark, Café Dumond, or the French Market.
gooch47 Posted July 23, 2018 #6 Share Posted July 23, 2018 We enjoyed using the Hop On, Hop Off bus. It stops at most major attractions. We also like to ride the streetcar. For senior citizens it is only 40 cents. The St. Charles line is really nice.
