Gardener62 Posted July 29, 2018 #1 Share Posted July 29, 2018 We are going to Alaska next June on the Millennium. We don't drink soda, only water and sparkling water, and little alcohol. We were wondering if we could bring on two bottles of Pellegrino on the ship in lieu of the two bottles of wine that are permitted. Also, can you bring a bottle of water/sparkling water on the ship when you come back from a port visit? Thank you.
CHEZMARYLOU Posted July 29, 2018 #2 Share Posted July 29, 2018 Yes to both, they do not limit the amount of water you can bring on board.
Rare cruisestitch Posted July 29, 2018 #3 Share Posted July 29, 2018 The water is not “in lieu of” the wine. Water, including sparkling water, can be brought on board at embarkation and from ports without limitations. Bring as much as you want.
FunInTheSun9 Posted July 29, 2018 #4 Share Posted July 29, 2018 I brought a case of Pelligrino on our last cruise, along with a case of water and a case of soda. Dropped it all off with the luggage on arrival after affixing luggage tags onto each case. They all showed up at our cabin together later in the day. Easy peasy. kathynorth Posted July 29, 2018 #5 Share Posted July 29, 2018 I purchased a case of Pellegrino while in port on a recent cruise and was able to bring it onboard without any questions. It went through the scanner just like the rest of our carry on items.
Mr. Click Posted July 29, 2018 #6 Share Posted July 29, 2018 We were on the Summit to Bermuda a few weeks ago and dropped a case of water off with our luggage. The luggage and the water all had the same Celebrity pre-printed tags, they all went right into the same bin to go to the ship and the water got to our cabin long before the luggage...Yes, it is that easy.
