Hi

Never been to Morocco before and several of our party either don't want to get off ship or just wander close

What to do? And see?

Any feedback pls 😊

We cruised on MSC and on repo ported in Casablanca and visited Casablanca, Rabat and Marrakesh . We would love to do a ground inland trip for a week in Morocco.:) We had no issues , and wish we had more time.

From my quick research, it seems like Morocco is safe. Obviously, normal precautions are necessary, but no need to worry.

 

Just for reference, the US State Department says Morocco is safe for travel with "Normal Precaution". Meanwhile, the Bahamas, Mexico, and Jamaica, where Royal regularly calls, all have an "Exercise Increased Caution" advisory.

 

I personally would gladly explore Morocco.

I would have them do more research or try dissolve their concerns. I’ve only been to Marrakech but it is an amazing place. I would highly, highly recommend exploring that city if that’s a stop on the itinerary. They may be a bit out of their comfort zones but it is well worth the experience.

Grabbed my wallet and ran.

We couldn't catch the little toe rag.

Interesting city, but no real desire to visit again.
