We are so new at this and need some expert advice!

We finish our cruise in Vancouver at 7.30 in the morning...what time do we have to get off the ship?

Bear in mind we have a top class (D736) suite aft with all the bells and whistles...maybe this gives us some extra time?

Our flight is not till 3 pm, domestic and only half an hour taxi ride.

Thank you for your help!

You will be requested to leave your suite by 8 AM (like everyone else). You will need to eat your breakfast in the MDR (like everyone else). You will be greeted in the Suite and Elite lounge where you can hang out until 9:30. There will be water, juice and pastries. Like everyone else, you will need to be off the ship by 10 AM.

Actually they will eat their breakfast (if they choose) in the Club Class Dining section of the MDR. Not quite like everyone else. Though also not quite like the Specialty Dining breakfast for full suite guests every other morning...

And they can certainly hang out in the P/E/S disembarkation lounge until the last group is called. Unless the ship is super-on-schedule that particular cruise it would be at least 10:00.

As for how else to kill the morning: you have to be at YVR around 12:30 to allow time to pre-clear customs and immigration (I will assume you are on a flight to the USA). Which means it is really not worth the effort to store your bags at Canada Place in order to hang around the waterfront for a couple hours having a crazy early lunch. Unless you want to reverse you plans and be one of the first ones off the ship instead.

Our flight is not to the US but staying in Canada, so don’t have to be there 3 hours early.

Thanks you for all your help everybody, looks like we won’t be in a rush to get off the ship. So happy we upgraded!

That still depends on the color group they put you into, because your luggage will be sitting in the pick-up area when you're group is called.

If you want the latest disembarking group and are not assigned to it, go to the customer desk on the ship and see if they can change it for you. It's really only a matter of giving you a different set of luggage tags.
