Checked in/Set Sail printed for Oct 28th LOS but one more question

I have my Set sail pass printed and on it it tells me that "They are not real luggage tags" It says if I forget my luggage tags I can get more from a porter. Where do I get my original luggage tags from?

Don't worry about luggage tags.

 

When you get to the port and give your luggage to a ship porter they will put a luggage tag on your bags.

At around 45 days out you'll get the information that you can NOW go online and print them. If you don't get notification, start checking at 45 days. SOmetimes it cuts as close as 35 (that's the closest to sailing date I've had the ability to print them anyway). And if you never print them off, it's not a huge deal as indeed the porters can take care of it at the port. ME? I like to take care of it in advance.

Thanks I was worried they would be mailing them to our home address and we will not be back at our home address until after our cruise! I was concerned they might mail those and other info I might need.

Original tags can be copied off the web site.

 

They'll last about seconds when you use them.

They stopped mailing tags (or anything for that matter) many years ago.

Yes too bad...I just sailed with Celebrity and it was so nice to get those tags mailed.

I don't understand why RCI cannot have them available as soon as the check in is completed. :rolleyes::rolleyes:This just adds more stress to people having to check back.All other cruise lines we have taken, the tag is available as soon as we do the check in. Maybe this can be part of the review and if enough people let them know, they may change their rules. :confused:
