Good to see you are eating healthy Mr Gut.:') Put hairs on yer chest that tucker.

Sometimes you just have to spoil yourself Uncle Les. But tonight it’s a good old roast. Later in the week a nice hardy soup.

And on your Marathon Spring Roll or Chicko Roll, chicken salt or ordinary salt?

Appreciate these great comments and various follow-ups. BUT, sorry to complain, but all of this food talk makes me hungry. Keep up the fun sharing and discussions.

THANKS! Enjoy! Terry in Ohio

Why are you wearing a shirt, man you are proper posh.:D

Indeed, I was brought up as an 'Army Brat. ' 'Regimentally' dressed all the time.:cool: I even have creases down the front of my PJ's, even though they are from Lowes, lol. Not DJ's.

I thought you were going to say that you were so formal that even your birthday suit has creases.;p

From the London/UK Daily Mail on Aug. 22, they had this headline: The restaurant you MUST visit: stunning dining venue named BEST in Australia with these highlights: Gourmet Traveller magazine has crowned Australia's number one restaurant. Quay in Sydney, which recently underwent a multimillion dollar refurbishment, took home the crown for the fourth time. Celebrity chef Peter Gilmore completely redesigned the restaurant's menu complete with a $275 10 course tasting menu.

Not a cheap place to eat. But is the food that good and/or tasty?? Worth it?

Re Quay, bit out of my league, but if you can afford it and want to experience it, do it young Terry in Ohio. You won't get a pie there though. $275 for a 10 course degustation menu is very expensive, but you pay for the experience and the views. We have a top eatery..'Sandbar' down here at Batemans Bay, does a 10 course degustation menu for $120.:p

'City Extra' at Circular Quay (opposite the ferries) is more my style, will be down there in a few weeks.

I would hope it has wine pairings for that price ($275) but then I have paid more on some occassions.

Peared wine!, not to my taste, would prefer something made from grapes and preferably from a non breakable cardboard box, anyone for Shiraz?
