What was the best part of having a suite?

Michael's club. Got to spend some time with Captain Alex there. Upon disembarkation, we were first off and escorted, which was great.

We also got to do the bridge tour, which was a lot of fun. Only problem I had was Captain Alex wouldn't let me blow the horn.

Am on the Summit in a sky suite at the end of January. Was wondering if it has a combination bath/shower and if so is it hard to get in and out.

Sky suite that we had has bathtub / shower. I had no problems getting in and out. Pretty much the same as the one we have at home.

They are a bath/shower combination. I haven't measured, but the tub is noticeably deeper than a "standard" landbased bathtub. At first, when I read the comments on CC of people complaining about getting in/out, I thought they were overreacting, then one morning I gave a bit more thought to the difference in entering/exiting and realized that any mobility challenge would likely be a bit exacerbated...and in a wet marble room on the ocean, one can easily imagine that being pretty unpleasant.

Ours too was a tub/shower combo. We are nimble and relatively young but I agree with your comments above.

Did you have a beverage package? I wonder how the premium package works with Luminae? Are the wines that are paired or sugessted of highest quality? In a sky suite in March.

Within the premium package there are quite a few nice selections. I also went for a few wines that were 10 to 20 upcharge when I wanted something really nice such as Caymus Cab or a Freemark Abbey Cab.

Thanks for all the great information. We are sailing on the Summit Sept. 23. We are trying to set up a car service from Cape Liberty to NYC and are not in a hurry to leave the ship. Do you know what is the latest time we can disembark?

Thanks in advance,

Joe
