cruisingpeople Posted August 24, 2018 #77 Share Posted August 24, 2018 Hey Kieth, Like Bob, I just found this "Live from". Refresh my memory. Weren't we together for the inaugural sailing of the CB, or was it a different ship out of Lauderdale??? Enjoy the rest of your cruise and say "Hi" to Tammy for me. Colo Cruiser Posted August 24, 2018 Author #79 Share Posted August 24, 2018 Someone mentioned the “Log of the cruise” not being available anymore. This note was in the Patter. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Colo Cruiser Posted August 24, 2018 Author #80 Share Posted August 24, 2018 Dunno… we docked at both in the beginning of June. We did a tour of St. Maarten that basically circled the island and it was heartbreaking. Over three quarters of the houses that we saw were damaged. Some were just gone. There were still boats underwater in the harbor at Marigot. We stopped at Grand Case beach and only one restaurant was open. Every other building on the beach was basically shuttered. IMHO, St. Thomas looked much better or at least farther along on the road to recovery. We went over to Mullet Bay. Saw some of what you describe. I thought St Thomas looked really bad especially downtown with many businesses shut down and looking like they will never open again. Colo Cruiser Posted August 24, 2018 Author #81 Share Posted August 24, 2018 This must be the Cherry Blossom cocktail that's part of the Platinum/Elite menu. We make them at home! Colo Cruiser Posted August 24, 2018 Author #82 Share Posted August 24, 2018 Does this taste as good as it looks? Hope they have them on the Ruby in December. Keith the photos are great. Thanks for taking the time to post about the trip. Joe Thanks Joe. Yes it is very good! Out of the 6 “new” PSE drinks it’s the only one I would order. Colo Cruiser Posted August 24, 2018 Author #83 Share Posted August 24, 2018 Was Senor Frog's open in St Thomas. Last year it was a staging area for hurricane relief. My niece is asking Did it used to be on the waterfront? We walked along there but did not notice it. We had a drink at one called the Green? Overlooking the water. TinaLee Posted August 24, 2018 #86 Share Posted August 24, 2018 Keith, if you have a second and find yourself at the IC, could you see if they have the Chocolate Orange loose tea for me? It's not in the tea bags, it's the loose tea they make up for you by the pot. I had to special order it to be on the Regal in March, and then of course I felt obligated to drink 18 gallons of the stuff while I was on the ship. :)

Colo Cruiser Posted August 24, 2018 Author #100 Share Posted August 24, 2018 Well as you can see I did get the internet sorted out. Something to do with our booking not jiving with the ships system and they were unable to correct it. The internet manager Yogesh was able to provide us with 2 separate codes to use for the cruise. Unlimited 1 device each. So if you wanted to change from one to the other you had to reenter the code in the new device. It’s lightening fast and the coverage is excellent throughout the ship. Our balcony was a little iffy for a short time but now it’s full signal as I sit out here with a beautiful view. It is free for Platinum and Elite while they get Medallion fully implemented at least through August for now I think. Also because of our snafu we can log into get the Patter however we cannot connect to our account and get our balances. This is just in our case because of the issues we had.
