Help needed from those that have switched cabins once on board

This is my situation , we knew what ship and sailing we wanted awhile ago. I get a free casino cruise from my land based casino but it wasnt available until this past june. So.....

 

Last year i booked a cabin for my husband and oldest son.

 

In june a booked the free cabin for myself and youngest son.

 

With that being said my husband and 21 yr got the cheers package.

 

First question, how will that work once i switch i to my husbands room , will it benoticed will i have to purchase it?

 

My other son is under 21.

I wouldn’t change the reservations. Just stay/sleep in whatever room you want to once you are on the ship. However, if you plan to buy Cheers too, than it won’t be an issue changing rooms before the cruise.

You don’t need to ‘switch rooms’ officially. Just go to guest services and get an extra key for each room. They can’t dictate who sleeps in which room. One person in each room will just have 2 cards then. Their card for charging items (which opens the wrong room) and their room key.

I don’t know if they will make you purchase cheers onboard if you go to guest services and tell them to switch your room. But they definitely won’t if you go down for an extra room keys and leave the rooms the way they are on paper and simply stay in the room you want to stay in.

I did this in June. We went to GS and asked for an extra room key for each room. I had 2 on my lanyard and din did also. It was very easy.
