  1. As I compared menus on the live threads on early sailings the menus for Signature and Reserve were very similar but not identical. The one difference I remember is the prime rib was not available every night in the Reserve and the waitstaff didn’t even know about the Trolley. The Signature staff said while they have the Princeton every night the trolley wasn’t there yet but would be. I think there were a few other differences but don’t recall what.
  2. I saw some invitation only events last week and some mentioned hoping it would be open this week. Still haven’t seen an answer if there is a discounted price for teens since it includes the alcohol. Will be interesting to read about but I know we won’t be going on our cruise next year. Other things I'd rather spend my $149 per person on. But love others having the option!
  3. Also the Sun Princess has a new to Princess dining experience in partnership with Magic Castle. It’s called Spellbound. Pricey but looks interesting.
  4. Love, love undercover tourist. We used it for Disney twice and stay on their email list even though I have no trips planned just so I don’t forget the site.
  5. I love prime rib and have been reading everything I can. It appears to me from what I’ve seen posted that the Signature menus have the “trolley” prime rib on the menu every night but it is coming from the kitchen, not a trolley yet. What cruisedoctor posted about the trolley not being delivered yet makes sense since it is in the menu description. I’ve also seen people ask about it in the Reserve dining room expecting it to be there also but I have not seen any menus with it listed in that one. I think that is part of what is causing the confusion for many.
  6. Hmmmm…the Lowry’s is Dallas just closed permanently. Maybe their sending theirs to the Sun😉.
  7. Yep😀. But I remember another dessert from there too that looked really good, just can’t remember what it was! I still have over a year to figure it out unfortunately.
  8. I didn’t ask my question right. I know we can go anywhere, my question is if we do eat lunch or dinner in the Signature can we go to the American diner later that same day for dessert or snack.
  9. I was wondering if we have dinner in the Signature Dining Room can we go to the American Diner for dessert later? Or mid afternoon for that matter. Since it is technically an option of the MDR I wasn’t sure.
  10. We are booked there next year. I had never even considered this possibility! Hopefully for all of us it won’t be allowed.
  11. We are booked in a suite next year and I am still looking forward to the Signature Sun Deck and Sanctuary access. I fully understand the disappointment from other. we like others have mentioned will not be spending much time there. In nearly 20 cruises I have probably spent less than an hour average in any public deck chair🤣. We wander mostly. Spend a little time here then move on so I never would pay for Sanctuary access. If I get to the Sun Deck and there’s a spot available I will hang out a bit if not I’ll move on. So we don’t have to be counted in the suite guests who will race up for a place. Others can enjoy ours!
  12. Spa/Thermal suite - what (if anything) is included for suite passengers? I get different answers
  13. I can understand not posting specific cabin numbers while on the cruise. I believe we will see more specific details posted as people get off the cruises in the next few weeks.
  14. We took this excursion last June. Obviously every kid is different but the two in our group did enjoy it.
  15. Morning - mimosa or Bloody Mary if later Afternoon - Funship Dinner - white wine (varies depending on mood) After dinner - Chocolate martini
  16. Our cruise on Ruby last year ended on Easter Sunday so I’m not sure about worship service or special menu but I get they did something. There were decorations during the week before Easter.
  17. Well dang! My guess has sunglasses, but not the one already mentioned🤣.
  18. 2 of my first 3 cruises were on NCL. Once they got rid of traditional dining we never consider them anymore. We have had Anytime dining twice due to circumstances and both times, while fine, just reinforced our preference for traditional. Even our (then) young teen boys said the same. I’m glad Carnival still has both options as I certainly understand both preferences.
  19. I thought that was the case from what you said, just don’t understand why. They had the tables in June when I was in Alaska so I wonder what happened to them?
  20. I’ve only seen it on the Pride and Spirit for Panama Canal day and in the fjord in Alaska. The put a row of chairs there for extra viewing area but just for those days. The tables were there the rest of the time. No reason for that on this cruise.
  21. For your Sun Princess cruise a traditional dining option still exists. When you go into the app to reserve your dining time you will see in the description of each MDR floor which has traditional. I think you will also be able to select if you want a private or shared table as well.
  22. Yes and I LOVE it for that!! Just one reason it’s my favorite class of ship.
  23. Well I’m even slower because I fix my get it until you said this🤦‍♀️. I was just focused on the squid (octopus?).
  24. We returned from our Horizon cruise the day you all left on your Tribe cruise. We stayed at Springhill Suites before our cruise after reading your previous reviews. We were very happy with it. Thank you for recommending it!
