Seafood Shack question

New to Carnival........What is the charge for the Seafood Shack? Is it really good?

I don’t call recalll the exact prices of everything they selll other than recalling the prices weren’t cheap, but they aren’t too expensive either. The oysters and shrimp are really good, my wife and I get them every time we are on a ship with a Seafood Shack.

IMHO the food was OK...the lobster roll can't compare to NE. The clam strips and shrimp were decent, but am not sure if I would pay to eat their again.

SS never appears busy to me. Tandoor was much better and complimentary. I didn't think Carnival nickel and dimes.

The clam chowder in the bread bowl was very good.

We enjoyed everything we had there, clam strips, lobster roll, oysters. Prices were reasonable.

 

Don't expect the Lobster Roll you get in New England, but is as good as you have a right to expect on a cruise ship.

I'm looking forward to trying it on our next cruise- first time on a ship that actually has a Seafood Shack!

My children and I had two pounds of steamed snowcrab legs, one pound of garlic buttershrimp and one pound of Cajun shrimp. I paid a total of $64.oo for everything. Itwas very fresh and delicious. Not sure if I would pay that much again.

In May on the oysters on the half shell were Blue Point and only $1.25 which is very reasonable. We thought the Lobster Roll was to die for. They do serve Maine lobster in the Steakhouse.

Seafood Shack charges an automatic 15% gratuity.

On Carnival a Lobster Roll is ok in price but , WHAT ARE YOU JOKING ..a HIGH FEE youall call a Gratuity?
