"LIVE" from Carnival Horizon September 13, 2018

I would like to know this as well. I have 2220 booked on the Panorama and it is a PT (2 port hole cabin) on deck 2 and not a spa room. The deck plans for Horizon show all cabin numbers beginning with 11 that are located on deck 11 as the OP's luggage tag indicates. Also, 2220 is on the port side not starboard. It wouldn't be the first time Carnival IT messed up.

2220 was a goof. . . I am in a Spa Cabin on Deck 11.

Hello everyone and good day. I had a great day in Bermuda today and I am back on the ship. The weather was perfect, and the skies were blue. We had a very warm day(75F) with a light breeze. I left the ship around 9AM and planned just to walk around the Dockyard.

I often rent a scooter, but since we had to be back on board by 3:30 I decided just to walk around. I first went over the National Museum of Bermuda ($15 pp) and I love going there as the National Museum offers some great views of the Dockyard Area. You can get some nice views of the ships in port and Snorkel Park beach.

I also went over to Clocktower Mall that has many shops offering venues. The air conditioning there felt wonderful as it was very warm today. I went over to the Glass Blowing store and Rum Cake bakery. The Phoenix Pharmacy has a ton of souvenirs and some very good coffee. Carnival Horizon passengers seemed pleased with the shopping options.

I made it back to the ship around 1PM to have some lunch and try out the Dr. Seuss Waterpark. It was very fun coming down the slides. I tried to do the SkyRide but it was still closed. I enjoyed another Guy’s Burger and that forced me to “watch the news” for a bit.

Carnival Horizon left the pier promptly at 4PM and we are now heading back to New York City. Here are a few pics from today.

Thanks for the nice comments, and thanks for tuning in.

Hi all!

Radio ~ glad you were able to make it to Bermuda & are having nice weather. I love the Dockyard area, so much to see there if you don't have much time.

Very interesting to learn here that there are aft facing cove balconies.

Enjoy the rest of your cruise & hope the casino is Radio friendly.;)

Yes, This is the first Ship with AFT Cove Balconies. . . Carnival Vista did not have them. . .

Horizon Casino was slow, but they seem to be more Radio Friendly. . .

Hello everyone and good morning. Welcome to DAY 4 of “LIVE” from Carnival Horizon. I woke up this morning at “Radio Dark30” and wanted to walk around a get a few images from things I may not have seen. I am happy that there is coffee at all times on board. You can also get Soft ice cream or frozen yogurt cones at any time.

I thought Carnival Horizon would be sailing with no passengers during her 2 night Cruise from New York to Miami, but I found out that is partially true. About 400 Carnival Employees and their families will be sailing during those 2 nights. There is a very large celebration planned to welcome Carnival Horizon to Miami at her new Home Port. Mickey Arinson (Chairman), Christine Duffy (President) and many other officers of Carnival PLC will be sharing with the celebration activities once in Miami.

The weather today looks promising with sunny skies and a high of 82F. The seas are very calm, but it is a little windy. There will be many activities today, and I am sure the pool decks will be filled. The Casino and Fun Shops will be very very busy today, and I am sure the final sea day may be one of the busiest days of the cruise. I still would like to participate with the Horizon Casino exercises while I can. The Casino hasn’t been as Radio Friendly as I may have hoped.

Here are a few pics from onboard.

Hello everyone and good day. I am sure every cruiser knows about the feeling on the final day on board. I think it may be worse than debarkation day. The thought of packing, the final dinner on board and getting back to reality only makes me want to book another cruise. I had fun onboard Carnival Horizon, but I think I would like a cruise that is longer than 4 nights.

My dining and service were wonderful and I think that the crew seemed very friendly and wanted to help all passengers have a fun time on board. I would have like to try all of the activities but maybe I will book another cruise from Miami on Carnival Horizon.

I have many images that I can still post as well as Fun Times and schedules when I get home. Tonight I will try to make it to Celestial Strings, and Electric White Night. I am still hoping for a Free Cruise giveaway to be held in the Casino at 11PM. The weather today has been perfect with sunny skies and warm weather (82F).

Here are a few photos taken today on Carnival Horizon.

Thanks for tuning in.

Great report. Thanks for sharing.

Curious, and maybe you talked about this and I missed it, but how does one get internet access on the Horizon? Can I still go to their computers and but an X # of minutes? Or do I have to buy Wifi plan for all members of my cabin? and do I have to buy that pre-cruise? My friends, also going on Horizon with us, said they already bought a plan and it was a per person per day type thing. I don't need that, just need to go on a website for my timeshare to book a trip. Thanks!

Hello everyone and Good Morning. Welcome to “LIVE” from Debarkation Day on Carnival Horizon.

Carnival Horizon approached the Pier 88 Area around 5:45 AM, and was tied up this morning by 6:15 AM. I had to hurry and grab just one more cup of Coffee before getting my stuff together and make it down to Deck 3.

This debarkation process couldn’t have been easier. I was off of the Ship by 7:15 AM and through Customs by 7:30 AM. I just had to go up two sets of escalators that put me up over the Terminal and walk to my car (on Pier 90)

I left New York via the Lincoln Tunnel which was very smooth. There was no traffic the entire way. . . I drove straight through to the Delaware Welcome Center to grab a delightful Americano from Starbucks.

I made it home by 10:30 . . . and I was shocked at how easy it was. Sometimes I don’t get off of the Ship until 10:30 but I am glad I am home. I may need to “watch the news” for a while and get re-energized. I still plan to post many photos I may have missed and to answer any questions that I have answers to that I may have missed.

Thanks for the nice comments, and thanks for tuning in . . .
