The two sailors on the bow are done; going down to fwd mooring deck where a helmet is required safety gear. The person on the dive board with the portable radio in his/her hand is the officer in charge. Quick look at "Big Bertha" thee huge yellow forklift on the dock

Thank you, Copper. I had wondered if it was Captain van Eerten.

 

I guess the excitement is over for the time being. The passengers will be disembarking soon. Looks like quite a nice day. When we were there 3 weeks ago, we never saw the top of the tramway!

Rens van Eerten has Zuiderdam at the moment however, when he's not on her, he's either on vacation or teaching at C-Smart in Almere, Holland. He and Capt. Robert-Jan Kan are switching off there
