Breakaway or Getaway

Both have the same itinerary. Which ship did you like better?

I have been on both Breakaway and Getaway and I really liked both of them. They are essentially the exact same ship with minor differences (i.e. Getaway has a Mojito bar vs. Breakaway has a Martini Bar.). I even had the same cabin number on both and they were in the exact same place on the ship. Getaway definitely has a more "tropical" vibe in its decor wheras Breakaway feels a little more "city chic" in decor. Entertainment-wise Breakaway has "Rock of Ages" and Getaway has "Million Dollar Quartet" and both are excellent! I think it may come down to which entertainment you might enjoy more.

Exact same general layout. I think I would choose the Breakaway (and Rock of Ages), but overall not much of a difference, both are great.

The ships are sisters. But, the Breakaway has just gone a facelift in dry dock. So things will be fresh and new on the Breakaway.

Well, all else equal I am going with Breakaway because one of my favorite crew members is on her... other than that... identical layout for the most part.

Breakaway’s Haven roof can open and close, whereas *I believe* Getaway’s Haven does not have a roof.

I was never on the Getaway and hated the Breakaway.Therefore,I would go on the Getaway.
