Lollipop's Mom Posted October 5, 2018 #1 Share Posted October 5, 2018 Thinking of jumping on a cheapie 4 night cruise this December, but wondering what (if anything) of the new expansion will be open? I am a wheelchair user and had a lot of trouble last time there as it was all sand. Quite excited about the upgrades coming that make it much more accessible. Katemusical Posted October 5, 2018 #3 Share Posted October 5, 2018 Would love to hear about this also. There are a lot of excursions available but if we just wander, what is there to do in December?

Beach, parasailing, wave runners, snorkeling, scuba, free BBQ lunch, other excursions.
wolfcathorse Posted October 5, 2018 #5 Share Posted October 5, 2018 here's the status of the pier as of the 2nd week of September. Not many of the attractions can be built until they get the pier finished so supply ships with the building materials can dock.

Most of the attractions will be on-line in May 2019 The remainder (Coco Beach) will be on line in December 2019 Steve.

We have the waterpark booked for next August but do wonder if things will actually be ready by then. Btw...where exactly are they putting the waterpark area? We were there this past August and can't picture where they will be building the slides and wave pool.
