Never used or thought about this before (in all my 30 cruises).

On embarkation day is it possible to get a dress pressed (only) in time to get it back for the next night which is always formal? We have early seating. (Serenade) TIA

Yes, it's possible. Make sure you tell your stateroom attendant the time the dress is needed.

I always just bring dozen clean shirts, give them to room attendant first nite to be pressed getting them back before early dinner second nite. This on Serenade cruises...

Can't speak for Serenade in particular, but intuitively, the passenger laundry room is not too busy on the first day.

 

On the HAL Volendam I gave a shirt for pressing to my steward on meeting him and it was back at turn-down!

There are no passenger laundry rooms on Royal ships.

I meant the part/personnel of the ship's laundry who handle passenger clothing requests.
